Great result for local wildlife conservation in the

Waitrose Four Oaks Store!

The Friends of Hill Hook Nature Reserve are pleased to announce that we have received the highest number of votes resulting in an award of £380 from the Waitrose  ‘Community Matters’ scheme.  This follows the publication of results of voting by Waitrose Four Oaks store shoppers in September 2017.

This award will help fund our regular conservation activities in the Hill Hook Local Nature Reserve, to protect and enhance the natural habitats for wildlife - both plants and animals.  We will use the funds raised for the purchase of tools, native plants and also materials for building and maintaining pathways and boardwalks.

Many thanks to all of you who voted for us. We are also very grateful to Waitrose shoppers in the Four Oaks Branch for their votes and to Waitrose themselves for running the ‘Community Matters’ initiative.

Thank you !
